Precision Manufacturing Capabilities Specialist Laser, Machining and Assembly Solutions

Surface-finish requirements for CNC machined parts are considered alongside dimensional tolerances and the functional purpose of the component, such as hypodermic tubes or laser welded assemblies. 


Depending on the material, geometry, and machining operation, a typical turned surface finish of approximately Ra 0.8 µm may be achieved. Finer finishes approaching Ra 0.4 µm may be possible on selected features following an engineering review.


The achievable finish can be influenced by:


- Material grade.

- Component rigidity.

- Tool access.

- Feature size and geometry.

- Machining direction.

- Required production quantity.

- Subsequent cleaning, welding, or assembly processes.


Any critical surface-finish requirements should be stated clearly on the customer drawing.

Manufacturing Capability Summary

Our miniature CNC machining capability includes production of high-precision CNC machined parts, specifically designed for manufacturing hypodermic tubes and other small, complex components. Our equipment features Rofin Baasel Select laser welders and Fibre Tube Laser Cutters available in femtosecond and non-femto options ranging from 100w to 1kw. We utilize Citizen and Star Micronics Swiss-type sliding-head CNC lathes to ensure general machining tolerances of ±0.01 mm, with critical dimensions achievable to ±0.005 mm and selected features approaching ±0.0025 mm, subject to engineering review. We specialize in prototype, low-volume, and repeat production runs while offering complementary laser welded assemblies, tube processing, and precision assembly services. Our Keyence vision measurement and inspection systems support our ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management processes.
